How Our Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher (VSI Crusher) Works

Feed at center
    Materials fall into the hopper and then through the feeding opening in the center enter the high speed rotor which will throw out the materials with high speed. Materials firstly strike those materials that are free falling down. Then, materials strike the materials-liner in the vortex or the impact liner and are rebounded to the top of crushing cavoty and then fall down. After that, the falling materials with materials shot from the impeller form a continuous materials curtain. Ultimately, crushed materials will be charged from the discharging opening.
    Feed both in the center and from sides
    The materials fall into the hopper and circle hole and then will be divided into two parts by the distributing plate. One part of materials cross the distributing plate and enter the high speed impeller and then is accelerated and thrown out .The other part falls down from the sides of distributor. Materials firstly strike the free falling down materials. Then, materials strike the materials-liner in the vortex or the impact liner and are rebounded to the top of crushing cavity and then fall down. The falling materials with materials shot from the impeller form a continuous curtain of materials. At last, crushed materials will be discharged from the discharging opening.

Operation and Maintenance Of Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher (VSI Crusher)
vsi crusher1. Checking the whirlpool cavity’s observation door whether it is closed tightly, in case the materials is fired from the observation door, to cause danger.
    2. Checking the rotation direction of the impeller .The impeller should rotate in the counter clockwise, or the electro motor’s wiring should be adjusted.
    3. The start sequence of the breaker and convey equipment.
    4. Discharge →breaker→feed
    5. Breaker muse be started up under no loading condition, the materials should be fed after the breaker is in good order.
    6. The sequence of shut down and start up is opposite.
    7. The feed size should be according to the requirement of every kind of machine strictly, materials over the requirements must be forbidden otherwise imbalance is produced and the impeller is wired heavily, even the tunnel of impeller and middle of feed tube will be jammed, as a result the machine can not work well.
    8. Feeding should be continuous and even, The huge shake and abnormal noise shouldn’t exist in the process of the operation, or the machine should be shut down and checked.
